Making space for meaningful connections.

Year2026

(Social Impact & Mental Health)

Global Launch

The starting point

A global mission built on connection.

Supporting young people’s mental health takes collaboration between organizations, communities and young people themselves.

UNICEF’s Global Youth Mental Health Coalition brings businesses and organizations together to mobilize resources, amplify young voices and turn shared commitments into action.

As the Coalition prepared to launch a global campaign about social connection, it needed a renewed identity and digital experiences that could reach different audiences with a shared purpose.

The challenge

One mission. Different audiences. Two digital experiences.

The project brought together a visual identity and two websites with different roles.

The Coalition needed a recognizable identity that could support its long-term mission and feel relevant to a younger generation.

The institutional website would explain the Coalition’s work and invite organizations to get involved. The campaign website would engage Gen Z through interactive ways to explore social connection.

We needed to give each experience its own voice while keeping the Coalition recognizable across both.

Our approach

The space between us.

We built the creative direction around a simple idea: meaningful change happens through connection.

That idea became The Space Between, the concept behind the renewed visual identity. We focused on the relationships between people, organizations and ideas, and the space where collaboration begins.

We developed branding, digital design and development as one process. The identity established a shared visual language, which we adapted to the distinct needs of the institutional website and the campaign.

Branding

What connects us
is not always visible.

Trust, empathy and support take shape in our relationships. We translated that idea into a visual identity that gives the space between people a graphic expression.

Open compositions, negative space, intersecting forms and a vibrant palette create an optimistic, contemporary system.

At its center, a renewed symbol expresses connection through simple, complementary shapes.

We designed the identity to work across digital platforms, communications and future initiatives, giving the Coalition a visual system it can continue to build on.

Experiencia digital

A home for collective action.

The Coalition’s website needed to explain its mission and make it easy for organizations and individuals to learn about its work and get involved.

We redesigned and developed the website around a clear content structure, bringing together its purpose, impact, members, resources and ways to participate.

We paired an expressive visual language with straightforward navigation and modular components, helping visitors move from the Coalition’s story to the information they need.

The content structure also gives the Coalition room to publish resources, share new initiatives and develop its communications over time.

Campaign experience

Turn Down the Noise.
Turn Up Connection.

For World Mental Health Day, the Coalition introduced Turn Down the Noise, a global campaign co-created with young people. It invites them to recognize the inner noise that can make reaching out difficult and take small steps toward connection.

Our role was to translate the campaign into a digital experience that invited exploration and participation.

We designed and developed the campaign website for mobile first, using playful, practical interactions to turn its message into things visitors could try.

Daily challenges, conversation starters, message-writing tools and guided pauses give visitors different ways to take a first step toward connecting with others.

The experience also brings together campaign stories, local events and mental health support resources, connecting online exploration with opportunities to participate offline.

We built the website to support multiple markets and languages, so the campaign could reach young people in different local contexts.

Outcome

One identity. Two ways to bring
the mission to life.

We gave the Coalition a renewed identity and two websites designed around the people it needs to reach.

The visual system gives its communications a consistent expression, with room for each initiative to have its own character.

The institutional website makes the Coalition’s work and opportunities to get involved easier to explore. The campaign turns its message into interactive tools and everyday invitations to connect.

Together, they give the Coalition a shared design and content foundation for future communications and initiatives.

Meaningful change begins with the connections we create.

Different challenges.

Different industries, different challenges, different starting points. One shared goal: create meaningful work that moves the needle.
