Challenge

Chequeado fights against disinformation: on its platform, users can verify the truthfulness of public statements, discredit fake news, and access information freely and without bias. On their tenth anniversary, they reached out to us to help responsibly highlight the most relevant fake news stories from recent years.

Strategic Solution

The goal was to expose fake news and irresponsible public discourse that had circulated among politicians and Argentine society over the past decade. Since the information was sensitive, we worked closely with the client and the agency to carefully shape every decision. We designed the site with a strong focus on navigation and user interaction with the content. Our intention was for users to uncover the truth behind misinformation through their own exploration of the platform.

Results

The new site, Museo de la Desinformación (Disinformation Museum), presents a powerful and rigorous portrayal of fake news from the past ten years. With a fluid design and clear storytelling, it informs without falling into sensationalism. We are proud to have contributed to the fight against disinformation and irresponsible discourse in our country. The project was also recognized with six awards from the Círculo de Creativos Argentinos and an Honorable Mention at Awwwards.
